SavannahBlue came really highly recommended from different forums online as well as from reviews, and I definitely see why! With this in mind, my first recommendation is to make sure, regardless of which day and time you’re planning on dining - make sure you have a reservation! And if you have a reservation during peak time, be prepared to have to wait a little before being seated. Now on to the fun stuff - the FOOD & DRINKS!!! Everything we ordered was delicious, seasoned to perfection and presented well. Overall, we were all really impressed with everything we ordered. I had the SB Jerk Burger, and asked for it to be light with the jerk - and it literally came out absolutely superbly seasoned and cooked medium as I had asked! I tried the Mac and Cheese that my father-in-law ordered, the Catfish fritters and the Kale Caesar & it was all 10/10!! The drinks were also really delicious. The ambience in the restaurant definitely gives grown and sexy vibes. There’s a grand piano in one of the main dining spaces, which leads me to believe that they have live music on particular nights - which I’m sure would elevate the entire dining experience.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe and music set the tone — warm, welcoming, and full of soul. The food was Hot, flavorful, and served in generous portions that truly hit the spot. It felt like a home-cooked meal made with love. Prices were affordable, and everything was seasoned to perfection. This was our first visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. The vibe and music were perfectly synchronized . Our waitresses were professional and articulated the menu with class! Definitely top tier! One recommendation: They could really benefit from a clear welcome or entrance sign to help guide first-time guests. Tip: Reservations are recommended—it gets busy for good reason!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our dinner experience. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Our waitress Sarah was very informative and truly enhanced our visit. I even got to take a selfie with her lol. The ambiance made us feel like we were the only ones there. And at the same time, it felt Warm and cozy. Food and service are great! We enjoyed our meal and time here. And I our server was on top of our service the entire time! When you come and eat, ask for Alexis when you eat here and have an apple martini!

It was a very nice place. I went late and found the last street parking. Not a lot of food choices, they were out of a couple things but what I had was great. I'll be back to try more. It's quite expensive and you have to take stairs. I like it though and will tell others.

This restaurant gets a 10 out of 10! Great ambiance! Food was absolutely amazing! Sarah, our waitress was very kind, warm, and attentive! The drinks were also on point! We will definitely be back! We had the whole red snapper and the catfish! Chef’s kiss! Sides: Savannah red rice with sausage, collard greens with smoked turkey, candied yams, and corn muffins! All ten out of 10! For desert we shared the sweet potato cheesecake! Totally delicious! Get here!! They won’t disappoint! Drink…blacker the berry! Amazing!

Few things bring me the joy of discovering a great restaurant in my adopted hometown of Detroit. Savannah Blue was a perfect take on Southern cooking. Flavorful, high quality, and priced accordingly, the great service only added to my experience. I will definitely be back.
